Insertion :
Data insertion is the first step in this entire process.
Many project might involve this stage only. We provide many ways for
this basic but important first step. Data input can be carried our by
simple key-in (typing) and Scanning
or in some cases via special instruments.

The Front
End :
Front end component is decided on data usage frequency
and data type. Various front end tools can be used like : HTML based
static web page, Visual Basic Form, ASP / PHP based interactive web
page (hosted on webserver), Text files, Formatted files, graphical menu
page etc.
An application can also be created specially for data access and storage
with stand alone / client server / web based access methods.
The Back end / Data format :
Data collected needs to be stored by an algorithm for
its indexed storage and easy retrieval. The storage can be by Database
system or simple file system. The text can be efficiently stored in
ASCII format. For formatted text / diagrams PDF format is used. Article
based data requires file approach where a record is a long while property
based data will be efficiently maintained and accessed if stored in
a database tool. For each method, different storage algorithm is developed.
Data as per the requirement, format, quantity, quality
and usage can be stored in image or text format. The scanning method
(image scanning v/s Optical Character Recognition) will also limit the
backend data storage method options.
Data Search & Retrieval :
As mentioned before the data usage frequency plays
a major role in data search and retrieval method. Frequently used data
requires fast and easy search facility with low process time, while
for archival data, access can be through simple, user friendly but non-elaborated
search tool.
Search facility can be dynamic in terms of its query
generation. The user can be given a tool to form the search query. This
is in oppose to the pre-fixed search options.
