MTTM System is an essential part of a toling system as Manual Tickets
have to be issued when an automatic tolling system is not operational.
The Manual Toll Tickets life cycle has definite stages. This application
covers all these stages with provision to store individual or group Manual
Toll Ticket/s details.
The Manual tickets can be used internally within an organisation or across
many organisations if the tolling work is out sourced. This application
will be of immense use for consolidation of returned tickets as well as
accounting.
In the first stage of the application the books are received. A SET of
books are normally for a fixed class of vehicle, fixed origin-destination,
no. of pages, plaza to be given to and lot number. The application auto
assigns the book numbers as per the above parameters and the
first page no. of the first book and the last page no. of the last book.
These book no. are the key identifiers for each book till the last stage
of the book life cycle. (figure 1)
The data entry for the page number as well as the size of the book lot
can be configured to handle the alpha-numeric number system. |

Accept or Reject Books
The life cycle stages offered here are: Book Accepted or Rejected or
Other (for reprinting, minor error correction etc.), Book Issue, Book
Return, Book Audit and Book Destroyed.
The will be passing through the above life cycle stages. Bulk movement
of the books as well as single book movement is offered. validations
are performed as the books move from one stage to other to avoid multi
stage existance.
During the books movement process, the current status as well as the
desired status is displayed and reconfirmed. (figure 2)

Issue and Return Books
The stages like Book Issue and Book Return require more details.
Books can be issued to Toll Plazas as well as to the Petrolling Vehicles.
The revenue collection method differs for the above receiving party. The
selection of these receiving parties are stored and revenue calculation
is done accordingly.
Another important stage is the Book Receive stage. The books can be received
from the Toll Plazas or from the Petrolling Vehicles directly. Also the
book returned can be Fully used, Fully Unused or Partially used. Each of
the above case is addressed separately. (figure 3) |
|
Audit and Destroy Books
Audit and books / revenue reconsilation is very important process. Various
auditors evaluate the entire process and systematic reports are created
for each. This application provides facility to select different auditors
categories and write their comments for EACH book if needed. (figure 4)
As the used books are in bulk and after end of the accounting year (after
end of the auditing) they are of no use, they are destroyed. A systematic
record of the books destroyed is also provided. |
|

easy searching facility is provided at every stage form for quick book access.
The book no. (which is the key identity throughout the application) can
be searched by the single ticket no. The form shows the full detail of the
required book. This searched book no. can directly be transferfed to the
related processing form. (figure 5)

Manual Toll Ticket Management tool offers extensive reporting tool. We offer
fixed criterai reports as well as user defined criteria reports. The user
defined report has a detailed multi choice query building form with user
friendly layout. (figure 6, 7)
The query builder form offers selection of charging method, toll plaza,
trip origin / destination, vehicle class, book no, book stage name, operation
date range etc. For the stages requiring more information (Issue and Return
stage), other options are also offered for detailed quiry building. (eg.
fully / partially / used books from plaza / petrolling). |

Basic configurations are required for proper working of this application.
These setups are offered through simple user friendly forms as shown. (figure
9)
The configurable parameters are Toll Plaza names, Tolling Methods, Vehicle
Categories, Book Page count etc.
These information once stored are protected and not editable once used in
the system to avoid accedental removal of it.
The setup reporting tool enlists these setup values for reference. |
|

The Tariff configuration is the most important parameter
setting. This setup affect the revenue calculation.
The Toll amount is dependent on the charging methods
used (single ticket, bulk tickets etc.), origin and destination
of the trip and the class of the vehicle. After selecting
these options the tariff amount is given. (figure - 10)
Also the Effective Date for this tariff is a very important
input. In case of multiple tariff input for a given set of rate, the latest
date values are used.
Provision is also made for different return fair if
needed. i.e if the toll from place A to B is not the same for B to A,
this application can handle it.
Reports are available for datewise tariff inserted.
